Rosa Vaccaro

Master Colorist

Rosa has had a passion for color and making things beautiful as long as she can remember. She has worked in top salons throughout NYC and Brooklyn and has finally fulfilled her long time dream to become a salon owner with GLAMVIE. Rosa gets to truly be in charge of the salon atmosphere, customer service and on a daily basis fulfill her passion by making people beautiful. 

She trained under Goldwell and Redken to become an expert colorist. Rosa attended the Goldwell Academy in Santa Monica and trained and studied at Loreal in Soho. She also is trained under Framesi and has utilized all her skills & techniques to train her current staff.  With over 30 years experience she has developed as a true master colorist. Once a client sits in her chair and experiences her charm, professionalism and skill, she becomes a loyal client. 

Rosa has taken her love for beauty and has trained with Biologique Recherche to be one of the first exclusive salons in Brooklyn to carry the complete line. Combining her passion for skincare and finding the formula for eternal youth has been an exciting journey that she has shared with her clients. Its started with hair & blossomed with her vast knowledge of skincare.

Sanela Cekic

Stylist / Colorist

Sanela always had her eye on the salon industry. Playing with hair since she was 14 years old, her first job was at a salon where she was working behind the front desk (better known as the heartbeat of the salon). Upon finishing high school, Sanela attended beauty school and obtained her license and her own chair by 19 years old. Sanela is passionate about hair and eager to please her clients. She specializes in all aspects of the trade, including cuts, color and styling. Clients rave about Sanela’s highlights and balayages. Sanela also has vast experience doing extensions. She keeps clients on trend and stylish with her finger on the pulse of the fashion industry.

Rosamaria Mancino

Stylist

Rosamaria comes to Glamvie with fourteen years of experience working at one of Brooklyn’s top salons. Rosamaria started her career as an assistant and quickly gained experience and technique to move up and get her own chair. Rosamaria has a very loyal clientele that loves her not just for her incredible talents but also for her outgoing, generous and lovable personality. She is always smiling and has a contagious laugh that carries out throughout the salon. Rosamaria specializes in haircuts and blowouts, up-dos, perms, and is Deva certified. Rosamaria can help her clients achieve the perfect curly haircut and teach them how to style it with innovative products and techniques.

Monique D’Avanzo

Stylist

Monique has been in the beauty industry her whole life. As a little girl Monique watched her mom, a talented and well-known stylist, style her clients’ hair. It was then that Monique decided her career path. Graduating from L.I.B.S. Beauty School in 1999, Monique went to work as an assistant at a salon in Manhattan. After getting her own chair, Monique decided to take her talents to Brooklyn. Monique’s specialties include short haircuts, curly haircuts as well as doing the perfectly layered  haircut.  She is certified by DevaCurl, the industry’s leading curly hair specialists, making her an expert on cutting and styling curly hair. She is truly a Jack of all hair types.

Deanna Matasci

Esthetician

After graduating with a license in cosmetology Deanna trained in one of the top spas in San Francisco in esthetics for over 8 years in the fashionable union square district. Once moving back to New York she brought her talent and passion to Brooklyn where she has worked for the past  25 years. Deanna stands out from most estheticians because she is continuously developing and evolving in her technique.  Deanna's clients enjoy her clinical and holistic approach as well as her gentle yet effective touch. Her passion and devotion is evident in her work. Each facial is individualized for her client leaving them with a unique experience as well as educating them on how to nourish their skin and what products work best, she’s known as a “face doctor”. Deanna is also Biologique Recherche certified specializing in anti aging techniques as well as addressing concerns for clients with acne prone skin. She also specializes in waxing and is meticulous with sculpting and tinting eye brows. She has a gentle touch when it comes to waxing and clients swear by her technique.
