Nothing feels worse than being all dolled up and getting caught in a rainstorm when walking out the door. Here are a few tips (and products we like to use) to keep your hair and makeup in top shape during these pesky April rain showers.
Pull your hair back! When the weather isn’t cooperating with your regular hair styling regime, opt to wear your hair in a sleek chic bun or slicked back in a ponytail. If you don’t like to pull back your hair just make sure you use a styling product that will control frizz!
Bumble and Bumble Defrizz
This defrizz serum does just that, defrizz! It acts as a barrier to humidity and will leave your hair soft, silky and flyaway free!
Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray
This hairspray offers long lasting, strong and flexible hold without leaving a sticky residue. It doesn’t weigh hair down and provides a shiny finish that fights frizz and humidity.
Waterproof your eyes! Use waterproof mascara and eyeliner to prevent your eye makeup from melting in the rain. If they do get wet, don’t rub because it will cause smudging and no body wants to walk around with raccoon eyes!
Smashbox Full Exposure Waterproof Mascara
We love this mascara because its sweat and humidity resistant, plus it stays put for 10 hours! Remove with waterproof makeup remover.
Smashbox Always Sharp Waterproof Kohl Liner
Not only will this liner always stay sharp, but so will you! The sharpener is built right in, so every time you open the cap there is a perfect tip waiting for you to create that precise line.
Whether it being shadow, foundation or blush – cream is your go to. When powder gets wet it tends to streak and we don’t want that.
bareMinerals Prime Time BB Primer-Cream
Diminish the appearance of uneven skin tone and imperfections instantly. The smooth formula of this BB Cream also combats flaky dryness, excess oil and the appearance of pores to perfectly. May be used alone or under foundation.
bareMinerals 5-in-1 BB Advanced Cream Eyeshadow
This cream eyeshadow features long wearing color so no need for touch-ups!
